Q: What's your surfing history?
A: I have been surfing for 40+ years. Wow, I'm old! I started selling boards for a living in '78. Bob Miller and I did the garage built surf shop thing in the early 80's and we spent some time on Maui during that time. Most of my surfing was on the points of Santa Cruz.

Q: What's your favorite board?
A: It's hard to say what my favorite board is. I've been riding Bob Miller's boards since the late 70's and his epoxy boards since the early 80's and Sandwich construction longboards since 92. But for me, that 10'2" is just so much fun. Flatter than most, and you know it's all about the "trim" and "glide"!

Q: Favorite way to surf?
A: With my boys Colin and Cheyne.

Q: Why are you with Bluecoil?
A: With Bluecoil I get to sell solutions for people not, just what ever is on the rack. We will sell what someone really needs. I truly am encouraged to say, " I would rather not sell you that board for that application." In the last 30+ years, I have sold thousands of surfboards, a good many of them Bob Miller's.
